Drinking water is essential to good health it helps to assist our bodies in day to day function and is a vital nutrient necessary to human survival. Everyone needs water because it regulates your body temperature assisting all of your nutrients to go to the appropriate places in your body. Water is also great for transporting things like waste, oxygen, and blood cells and it even helps to remove waste while protecting all of your joints and organs. Activities helps to utilize the water you drink, such as; urination, sweating, however if you are sedentary you will use a lot less water. Pills or herbs that serve as a diuretic like caffeine pills and even alcohol can fool your body and making it believe you are filled up to the brim with water, so many people began to show symptoms of dehydration.

Hydration symptoms are a sign given naturally like chronic pains in your joints, constipation, headaches, muscle pains and even lower back pains and sometimes accompanied with urine that is amber colored with a strong odor, however vitamin B and riboflavin also gives your urine a bright yellow color as well. Most of the time if you feel thirsty then your body is already in dehydration mode and thirst is just a mechanism, just like a gas light coming on in a car, you needed gas long before the gas light came on and by then you may not even make it to a service station, well our bodies are just like that so if you feel thirsty then you have been depriving your water needs for a while before the thirst came on.

If you ever find it difficult to drink water, just make sure you drink 2 to 4 glasses with a meal and if you like soda with your meal then began replacing the soda with water, and after you have eaten a meal then try the soda. Often during eating you can get thirsty because of the spices in the foods, or salts, or even sugars, you always have the need to want to chug down a good drink and why not let that good drink be water. Soda is easy to drink without food, but water is not easy to drink without food. Food has a dominant taste and it’s easier to use water to wash it down.

There is about 20% of water in the foods you eat each day and also in most beverages that you drink also includes water and drinking 8 glasses per day is great, and in some cases if you are working it can be pretty tough to keep a bottle of water with you at all times, and in some cases water can just get pretty boring to drink, so that’s why there are other options like adding lemon juice freshly squeezed or lime, and there are also some choices of flavored water available for purchase. There are natural sodas that have basically naturally carbonated water with a touch of natural flavor and it almost tastes like soda but it’s not as strong. Hansen has some really great tasting natural sodas, but check everything for the calorie intake and sugar intake if you are sugar conscious.
