The most severe instances of clinical negligence results in death. But, there are also severe cases in which a person is disabled for life, unable to participate in the activities they once enjoyed, or are living in constant pain and suffering.

If any health care provider or doctor has made and error or mistake that has caused you undue pain, they have committed clinical negligence. If you’re lucky, you may simply take longer to heal or get better or you may just be sick or in pain for a few weeks or months.

In many cases, clinical negligence can destroy your life and the lives of your family. Clinical negligence doesn’t just effect you, it can have devastating effects on your family as well. Especially if it’s resulted in a life long medical condition that has changed your quality of life.

Anyone in the health care industry, including nurses, chiropractors and psychiatrists can be responsible for negligence. And, you can even file a claim against a medical institution such as a hospital, a medical clinic or an institution.

Even a pharmacist at your local drug store can be found negligent if they’ve given you the wrong medications or not informed you of the risks. Clinical negligence cases can even include the manufacturers of medical devices if you can prove that they knew the device was inadequate or faulty.

Any time that anyone associated with the medical profession has done something that has decreased your quality of life, you have the choice to fight back. If you’ve had to have extensive medical care because of negligence, a claim may be the only way to pay your medical bills. And, it may be the only way to support your family if you can no longer work.
